President-Elect Donald Trump Addresses Mystery Drone Sightings Over New Jersey
During a press conference on Monday, President-elect Donald Trump spoke out about the ongoing mystery drone sightings over New Jersey, stating that both the military and the government are fully aware of the situation.
Trump: "The Government Knows What’s Happening"
Trump emphasized that the U.S. government is well-informed about the origin and movement of the unidentified drones. "Our military knows exactly where these drones have taken off from. If it's a garage, they can pinpoint that location. They know where it came from and where it went," he remarked during the press conference.
Military and Presidential Knowledge of the Situation
Trump raised questions about the government's reluctance to share information with the public, stating, "For some reason, they don’t want to comment. I think they’d be better off clarifying the situation. Our military knows, and our president knows. Yet, they seem intent on keeping the public in suspense." He further added, "If this were an enemy threat, they would have acted swiftly, even if they were late."
Trump Expresses Concerns Over Lack of Transparency
Trump continued to express his frustration with the lack of clarity from authorities, suggesting something "strange" was unfolding. "I can’t imagine why they wouldn’t tell the public. This is happening over Bedminster. Maybe I’ll cancel my trip there this weekend," he said.
Trump Calls for Drone Downing Amid Ongoing Mystery
As the sightings of unidentified drones persist, with no official explanation from the government, Trump had previously called for decisive action. "Mystery drone sightings all over the country. Can this really be happening without our government’s knowledge? I don’t think so! Let the public know now, or shoot them down!" Trump posted on Truth Social.
Drones Sighted Near Trump Golf Course in Bedminster
Trump decision to cancel his weekend trip to Bedminster appeared to be influenced by the continuing drone activity. Drones have been spotted not only near a New Jersey military site but also over the Trump golf course. This comes after Trump survived two assassination attempts earlier this year—one in Pennsylvania and another in Florida.
